For my FMP project I wanted to use illustration to make a range of poster designs that promoted the city of Bath as a tourist destination. My illustrated posters are of famous architectural sites across Bath. Each poster is drawn in a colourful and bold style that was influenced by artists such as Chip Kidd and David Hockney.

My project was based upon mental health, specifically Social Anxiety as I think it’s important and relevant to today’s society. Due to Covid-19 lockdowns and being limited to staying indoors, social anxiety has become a common struggle among most people. I created posters to spread awareness on these issues and help people feel less alone.

In my project I hoped to address a harsh reality of what space colonisation could mean if we all continued pulling in different directions. I wanted to tell a story visually, designing the graphics that would occupy a dystopian future and presenting them in a way that would provoke thought and spark conversation about the media we consume and what we hold as our truths.

My goal was to create an animatic using audio from various media, such as YouTube, Music, Movies, Video Games, etc. I also wanted to create a contact sheet presenting each individual frame in the animatic. The artworks I have chosen for the FMP is a JPEG containing a coloured frame, a JPEG consisting of 6 Frames, showing the basics of the story within the animatic and the actual animatic itself.

Throughout my project, my focus was on bringing elements of my childhood back to today. Combining elements from both the 1990’s and early 2000’s, I have created two CD’s for both decades. These include chart topping songs by female artists with a stylish design to showcase fashion, music and art.

For this project, I wanted to make some artwork for an upcoming video game. I have created three artworks for this project. The first is the cover sleeve for a Nintendo Switch game case. The second is the separated front cover of the case, to show the individual artwork. The last is the poster size version of the cover artwork.

Essentially my project is a collection of memorabilia from a film festival, an assortment of posters advertising the festival, the posters are each designed in the style of a different decade, ranging from the 60’s up until the modern day. The aim of my project was to show the evolution and progression of Graphic Design across time, as well as to show how our culture and style has changed throughout time.

For my project I decided to create a pitch document which would be used in pre-production for a video game. The document contains detailed illustrations of characters, worlds and asset design.
